Lyrical Studies, written around 2006, is a didactically structured collection of miniature pieces intended for beginning students. After a single-page series of preliminary studies on open strings, the following six pages introduce in turn the notes in the first position for each of the six strings. Two to three studies on each page incorporate each new string. Pages 10 and 11 provide additional studies, and on the final page is a series of five additional exercises.
